Tim is the Founder and President of the Amarone Group, LLC. Prior to starting the company, he spent over 30 years in the Human Resources field. Tim founded the company based on his (less than favorable) interactions he had with some other search firms he hired in companies, and times when he was searching for himself. Based on some of those experiences, he felt he could do better. Tim is entrepreneurial, strategic, yet tactical, and very hands-on.
Over the span of his career, he has recruited and hired hundreds of various positions; from entry-level hourly and union, to C-Level positions. He started his career in the Compensation and Benefits function and moved into other functions such as Employee Relations, Training, Recruiting/Talent Acquisition. Tim later held positions such as Specialist, Generalist, Business Partner, Manager, Director, Senior Director, VP, and Chief HR Officer.
Tim has worked in multiple industries over the span of his career. Some of the industries he worked in include: Manufacturing, Public Utilities, Entertainment, Healthcare (Dental and Ophthalmology), Insurance and High Tech/Software. The scope of these companies ranged from 200 employees to over 100,000, including Fortune companies. He has done union negotiations and has worked with VC groups and several Boards of Directors.
Tim holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree, as well as the Human Capital Strategist Certification. He also held the SPHR designation earlier in his career.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, travel, football, good wine and building classic cars.
